The excitement that movies brought into our lives started with the glamour and romance that Hollywood portrayed at the beginning. The movies that were made allowed people to escape from a world that was torn apart from war. In Hollywood everything was beautiful and glamorous. If you are ever afraid that you will one day run out of movies to watch you can be assured that it won�t happen. If you watched two movies a day for the rest of your life you would still find that there are plenty of movies to keep you entertained.
However, if you are worried those movies are running out of new ideas and movies simply repeat their story lines, which might be a valid worry! In that case you still wouldn�t have to worry too much; you should look into entertaining yourself with old movies. Old movies are in an entirely different class from movies today. Movies made in the past were filled with interesting plots and outstanding casts. They brought many good things into the lives of people who were overtired and overworked.
You should never under value an old movie just for the reason that they lack picture quality or that they are in black and white. Some of the best movies ever made in the history of movies belong to the class of old movies. Casablanca, A Philadelphia Story, citizen kane singing in the rain etc. are some of the classic movies of the old. The performance of the actors of the past are noticeably better than the present day actors. They were outstanding in dancing, singing and acting. The value of the theme of the old movies have not lost by the passage of time. They are certain to entertain you still. Most of them come under the class of ever green movies.
We can think of watching these old beauties at many times. Initially, when the entire world was in postwar depression and hassles, these movies showed people a way to reenergize themselves. The attractive feature was that many of these movies tried to focus on real life situations and ways of overcoming contemporary problems. The inspiring and enjoyable tunes made people dance and sing with joy. These movies are valuable aids when we want to look up to the future with hope and new energy.
When it is drizzling lightly outside and you feel like you would just like to spend your day indoors, and then why not pull out an old movie to watch. The happy smiles and cheerful dispositions of the actors will put you in a good mood! Another great time to watch old movies is when you feel sad and lonely. You may feel sad for a number of reasons, but old movies will cheer you up and brighten your day. Many themes of movies made in the past were meant to bring a bright and happy outlook to the future. The next time you feel down you should pull out one of these happy old movies with which to entertain yourself!
